Onward are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, accredited and experienced Contractor to implement energy efficiency improvement measures. The project scope will consist of approx. 400 Victorian terrace properties in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool. The energy improvement measures will include:Wall insulation systems (External Wall insulation or EWI, Cavity Wall Insulation, and Internal Wall Insulation or IWI) to rear and gable elevations, including outriggers and extensions – front facing elevations excluded, unless by exception.Loft Insulation,Re-roofing, extending and adapting roof coverings, Eaves, Verge and Ridge details, including rainwater goods, fascia’s, and soffits and barge boards.Adapting elevation features and services to accommodate EWI, including narrowing of existing openings,Window and door replacement and upgrade with high performance triple glazing units,Where possible, some instances of underfloor insulation.The aim of the measures is to target an energy

Onward Group is one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35,000 homes across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Onward is a not-for-profit organisation, committed to the regeneration and sustainability of the North West region, with a primary focus on making a positive difference in the communities we serve.Onward are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, accredited and experienced contractor to undertake a retrofit project to approx 400 homes in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool. The project is to implement energy efficiency improvement measures including External & Internal Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Window & Door Replacements to approx. 400 properties in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool, to target an energy performance improvement of up to EPC B and C.The form of contract will be a JCT Intermediate Form with Contractors Design portion.The project value is estimated at £12m, commencing late 2023 with a completion date of March 2025.

All Contractors and Subcontractors must be PAS2030 Accredited and TrustMark registered in line with the SHDF funding requirements. SWIGA and CIGA accreditations are required for Insulation works. FENSA registration is required for Window Installations and NFRC Competent Person Scheme for Roofing works.
