seven.2) Information about modifications

seven.2.1) Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

The cumulative value of modifications to this contract has surpassed the £500,000 threshold for transparency across the contract term. This modification notice has therefore been published in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime 2023 Schedule 12.

The below modifications apply to the period 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025 only:

1. Vaping Dependence Pilot: £51,927

2. Autism Waiting List Reduction: £317,800

3. Mental Health Green Paper: £153,800

4. Mental Health Service Development Funding: £183,654

5. Knowsley Children in Care: £46,056

6. Wigan End of Life Care: £15,000

7. Care Leavers' Programme: £40,000

8. Covid Testing: £198,798

9. Neonatal Health Justice: £19,500

10. Diabetes Transition: £7,300

There is no change to the length of the contract, which expired on 31 March 2025.

This modification was approved by the Place Director, in line with the Scheme of Reservation and Delegation and there is no declaration of interest relating to this decision.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

The funding allocated to Alder Hey is to supplement and develop existing services. Number 5 relates to the continuation of non recurrent funding to support the statutory requirements relating to Children in Care.
