Newport City Council are inviting tenderers to participate in a Pre Qualification process for the demolition of Newport Centre, City Centre.
-The removal to a licensed tip of all asbestos from the building
-The soft strip of the buildings and removal of those materials
-The controlled demolition of the building including the removal of all foundations
-The removal of the pile caps including accurate locations of the piles
-Making safe / supporting walls to the adopted footway / roads.
-Control of traffic on the adopted highway with Traffic Management
-Maintaining access to local carparks, businesses and properties.
-The reprocessing of any identified demolition materials for future use.
