NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Provision of Primary Medical Services.

Please note that this is not an opportunity for a particular practice. The purpose of this process is to make future opportunities quicker and more efficient in terms of the procurement process.

The DPS will be split into the following Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) geographical areas.

-Lot 1 – Glasgow City (South, North West and North East)

-Lot 2 - Inverclyde

-Lot 3 - Renfrewshire

-Lot 4 - East Renfrewshire

-Lot 5 - East Dunbartonshire

-Lot 6 - West Dunbartonshire

Bidders can apply for any combination of lots and should indicate which lots they are applying for in the qualification envelope on PCS-Tender. There will be no limit to the number of providers who qualify.

If NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde wishes to select a new service provider for a practice, the provider must have the capacity and capability to meet the needs of the patients by delivering high quality, patient-centred clinical services in a primary care setting.

It is expected that future providers will build on existing best practice, and focus on a community and health and social care approach. The clinical services will be delivered in an environment that provides patient care of a standard consistent with that of similar services provided elsewhere within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

With reference to ESPD question 4A.2, bidders are required to confirm that all persons engaged as a GP and undertaking healthcare duties have Valid Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) including license to practice. This is a pass/fail question.

With reference to ESPD question 4A.2, bidders are required to confirm that all persons engaged as a GP and undertaking healthcare duties are registered on a GP Performers List. This is a pass/fail question.

With reference to ESPD question 4A.2, bidders are required to confirm that they satisfy the criteria for a contractor to enter into a general medical services contract or personal medical service agreement set out in Section 17L of The National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978. This is a pass/fail question.
