Ground investigations are required at 5 of the ports in order to characterise the ground conditions for dredging design at two locations, and for foundation design for new aligning structures at three other locations. New sub-stations and cabling works will be required at all sites.
The purpose of the main works is to undertake a marine survey and marine and land ground investigations to develop a replacement berth and ferry terminal.
The purpose of this lot is to gather information that will allow for development of an outline design as well as a detailed design of the main works proposed.
