The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is tendering for the provision of Body Armour for Armed Response Officers. The resulting Framework will be available to West Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Police and Humberside Police.

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (CA) expressly the reserves the right not to award a Framework Agreement as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice: and

If the CA decides to enter into a framework agreement with the successful supplier, it does not mean that there is any guarantee of any subsequent call off contract being awarded. Any expenditure work or effort undertaken prior to framework agreement award is matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers.

The duration referenced in 11.2.7 is for the placing of call off contracts. The values provided in 11.1.5 and 11.2.6 is only an estimate. The CA cannot guarantee to the supplier any business through this framework agreement. All bidders are to be aware that complete armour system samples that meet the requirement are to be submitted along with the tender as outlined in the tender documentation.
