Description
This tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of pressure area care (PAC) equipment and services in addition to safe patient moving and handling equipment and services. The framework will provide a comprehensive range of products for use within the acute care, long term care/nursing homes and home care/community, accessed either by a rental model, rent to buy or capital purchase. Further to the aforementioned products, the Services within the scope of this procurement exercise cover decontamination, repair, maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, managed equipment service and other services related to the project. Engagement process description
HealthTrust Europe plans to conduct engagement through virtual/in-person meetings and discussions with potential suppliers who are able to provide products and services detailed in the scope of the procurement, which includes pressure area care (PAC) equipment and services in addition to safe patient moving and handling equipment and services.
This engagement exercise aims to establish:
- Specification development and understanding of solutions available in the market
- Identify all potential suppliers for this requirement (including VCSEs and SMEs) and provide the opportunity to be awarded to the framework
- Understanding the commercial structure that aligns to market expectations and will meet the requirements of any Contracting Authorities
- Notifying the market and building capacity to prepare for the procurement and contract award.
