The Council has a requirement for Teaching Agency Services. Tenderers who are successful on gaining a place on the Framework Agreement shall be expected to provide one or both of the following Services:

Lot 1: Teaching Agency Workers

Lot 2: Sourcing of Teachers for Direct Employment

This Lot pertains to the provision of Teaching Agency workers. These agency workers will be provided on a temporary basis, charged at a fully inclusive daily rate for an agreed period. Where these agency workers are recruited as permanent Council staff members, a ‘Temp to Permanent’ fee could be invoked.

The agency teachers shall be qualified to teach at Primary or Secondary level within the Scottish Educational System.

This Lot pertains to the provision of a service to source employed teachers on behalf of the Council. Where the teacher is recruited to the Council as an employee on either a fixed term or a permanent basis, a fee would be payable to the Teaching Agency.

The sourced teacher shall be qualified to teach at Primary or Secondary level within the Scottish Educational System.
