two.1.4) Short description

Sunderland City Council (the Council) is seeking to increase and maximise its revenue streams through Bus Shelter and Free-Standing Unit advertising, provision will be procured on a Concession basis.

In order to open the market, provide competition and achieve best value, advertising via Bus Shelter provision and Free-Standing Advertising Units (FSAU’s) will be procured under 2 separate lots as detailed below:

• Lot 1 – Advertising Bus Shelter Provision

• Lot 2 – Free-Standing Advertising Units Provision

Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded independently and will operate on a sole supplier basis.

Tenderers may bid for one or both Lots.

Each Lot will include advertising alongside the supply, installation and maintenance of equipment.

Under this procurement the Council has set a minimum per annum revenue target of:

• Advertising Bus Shelter: £100,000

• FSAU’s: £50,000

All tender documents are available via this portal. The Council will be using the Open Procurement Procedure, tenders must be returned by no later than 12 noon Friday 20th August 2021 in accordance with the ITT instructions. As part of the tender process a supplier briefing session will be held via Microsoft Teams at 10:00am Monday 9th August 2021.
