two.1.4) Short description

The Police & Crime Commissioner for Cumbria (the Commissioner) is intending to undertake a market engagement exercise to inform the specification development to procure Victim Services with a contract renewal commencing 1st April 2024.

Victim Services would offer support to victims of crime, whether or not they chose to report this to the Police. This would potentially include triage, individual assessment of needs and risk, needs-led provision of emotional and practical support, support with the criminal justice process and advocacy. It would provide an enhanced service to those entitled under the Victim’s Code of Practice. The service would potentially incorporate support for some victims of antisocial behaviour and for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual abuse or sexual assault, including Independent Domestic Violence Advisor and Independent Sexual Violence Advisor services.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Commissioner is intending to host Market Engagement sessions during 26th and 27th June 2023 via MS Teams, as one to one session lasting up to an hour and half with each individual or organisation interested in the future tender opportunity. To registered interest in attending the Market Engagement, please register on the EU-Supply portal (see I.3 Communication section above in this notice for URL). Once registered you will have access to background information documents, draft specification, and Market Engagement Response Document. To secure a place please returned Market Engagement response document using the portal messaging facility by the cut-off date of 22nd June 2023 at 12:00hrs.

It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition and as such potential providers will need to express an interest in any future tender opportunity once a contract notice is published in Find a Tender and on Contracts Finder.

The upper limited of the estimated value range for the initial 3-year term has been used to estimate the total value for this notice.
