The FM contract will be a combined single contract for Hard and Soft FM Services.

Cornwall Council is transforming the way that the Facilities Management Services are delivered. We are looking to achieve a consolidated, compliant and higher quality FM service for all council properties which is aligned to our Corporate Landlord model. This transformation will involve a move from a reactive and input based service model to a proactive, planned and output based service model. This will be a key enabler to successfully delivering the benefits of Corporate Landlord in terms of savings, environmental benefits, compliance and improved life cycle maintenance approach.

The original opportunity offered an option to bid for either the Hard Facilities Management lot or the Soft Facilities Management lot, with suppliers also able to indicate whether they wanted an opportunity to bid for both lots.

Following the market response, it is now the Council’s intention to move to a single combined lot approach, which covers all requirements of both the Hard and Soft Facilities Management lots within one bid.

To confirm the FM contract will be a combined single contract for Hard and Soft FM Services.
