• Predominantly this will be single-activity work (removals), however there may occasionally be enabling works required e.g., disconnecting a light fitting for a textured coating ceiling to be removed. These enabling/incidental works will be carried out by Bristol City Council.
• Leading times provided below. *These are discretional, The Responsive Manager reserves the right not to offer the leading time*
• There are three main priorities of work:
Emergency: Attendance within 2 hours completion within 24 hours (working day)
Non-licensed Asbestos Removal: Completion within 5 Calendar Days, or on date specified by client
Licensed or Notifiable Asbestos Removal: within 15 Calendar Days of the receipt of the works order, this will include all documentation to the HSE

General Overview
The Building Practice stock portfolio consists of 383 properties broken down into the following Services:
Schools and nurseries
Council offices
Community buildings
Adult care
Children’s homes
Leisure centres
Libraries
Parks, toilets, sports dressing rooms
Cemeteries
City mortuary
City docks buildings
Commercial estate – industrial, office, retail, etc.
The works are made up of of planned maintenance and response works which averages out at approximately 250k per annum.
This work will generally comprise of:
• Works in occupied properties.
• Work generally instigated at the request of the ‘Employer’ (For the building practice this will be the building surveyor for the property or compliance support officer)
• Predominantly this will be single-activity work (removals), however there may occasionally be enabling works required e.g., disconnecting a light fitting for a textured coating ceiling to be removed. These enabling/incidental works will be carried out by Bristol City Council.
