two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Wandle Housing Association wishes to invite Tender Responses for the supply of works in respect of Phase 1 Cladding Remedial Works at Chole and Thalia Court. Chole Court (15 Bournemouth Road, Peckham, SE15 4UN) and Thalia Court (137-141 Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4ST) are both general needs blocks based in South West London.
The blocks are adjacent to each other constructed in 2007 and are both over 11M, Chloe Court being a 7 storey block, and Thalia being a 5 storey block both with a render finish, which has combustible materials requiring removal and replacement.
Scope of works includes removing and replacing existing EPS render system with a non-combustible alternative system. The appointed provider will be responsible in conjunction with Wandle Housing Association for all of the services detailed within this Specification on behalf of premises under Wandle’s management and the customers Wandle serves.
Wandle expects that the start on site date will be 23rd September 2024. The expected period of the works is to be no longer than twelve (12) calendar months (completion by 22nd September 2025)
The budget for this contract is £2, 266,478.29 in its entirety (exclusive of VAT).
