Future Academies Trust seeks to procure a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) management, maintenance and repair services provider for all the ten schools within the Trust, which are based in Central London and Hertfordshire.
The goal from this process is to partner with a provider that is flexible and best value, can take responsibility for maintenance of all mechanical services for the Trust’s schools to ensure minimal downtime, and to respond in reasonable time to equipment / service break downs.
This will include providing a schedule of industry best practice, planned preventative maintenance for the mechanical assets that support the operation of the Trust’s schools.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the ability to utilise local suppliers in the delivery of services where economically feasible. Local management and support are considered vital to the success of this contract.
Experience of similar large education-based multi-site operations is important, as is the requirement to be flexible, as developments within the Trust take place over the contract term.
The contract is a 3 year contract (plus 24 month extension, on a +1year, +1year basis), to start from 28th February 2022.
