MAG is seeking a Group ATC system procurement and installation programme of works to meet the operational needs at each of the three airports, Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted.
Consultancy services will be required to assist with the development of system technical specifications and the evaluation of tender bids.
Consultancy Services will be required for the following:
Carrying out site surveys at each airport location to review existing ATC assets, site conditions and constraints.
Development of standardised ATC system performance specifications.
Development of outline design for all structural, civil, electrical and communication requirements to support the installation of ATC systems.
Ensuring the design deliverables meet the programme outcome and any stakeholder requirements.
Engagement with each Airport?s Air-Navigation System Provider (ANSP).
Supporting the development and approval of ATC system Safety Case certification.
Providing engineering and innovation support for ATC systems and equipment.
Determining draft phasing for the programme.
Supporting development of a detailed cost-plan.
Assisting with determining the most efficient procurement strategy, de-risking the delivery programme to meet each Airports operational needs.
Supporting with the production of tender documentation and evaluation of bids for the subsequent ATC asset tender.
Development and production of MAG Assets Standards for each ATC System.

Standardised equipment supply, installation, operation and maintenance of ATC Systems.
Appointment of the minimum number of suppliers that can provide MAG?s Navigation and Surveillance equipment requirements.
Proven UK site presence of supplied, installed and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved ATC systems.
Ability to contract promptly and deliver ATC systems to meet MAG?s operational needs.
UK based maintenance support and ability to provide Service Level Agreement (SLA) contracts.
