The aim of the Mid-Life MOT is to provide a service to increase and improve individuals’ understanding of their finance, health, and careers the Mid-Life MOT aims to support Employers to promote health, wealth, and skills for their employees with a view to planning for their life after work.
The Mid-Life MOT provision aims to encourage individuals to engage with later life planning through a holistic assessment of their health, finance, and skills, to be backed up with individual action plans. Suppliers would deliver the Mid-life MOT through employers and direct to individuals within three pilot areas within England; North East, East Anglia and Devon & Cornwall
The service offered may potentially include:
Creation of a holistic, tailored, face-to-face Mid-life MOT programme that is trusted amongst employers
Delivered by engaging with employers, to allow direct delivery of the Mid-life MOT programme to their employees.
Focus on improved later-life outcomes using an action plan.
