Framework operation description
When it becomes necessary to call off from the specific Framework lot the Council may use either of the options below at its discretion:-
i) Orders may be placed directly with the contractor ranked first, quotations must be provided within the timescales requested by the Contract Administrator. If that contractor is unable to meet the Council's requirements and/or return the quotation within the time frames provided, an order may be placed with the contractor ranked second, and so on.
ii) A mini competition may be carried out, in which case all contractors appointed to the Framework lot will be invited to bid.
