Wythenshawe Community Housing Group sought bids from suitably experienced suppliers to provide a materials supply managed stores solution. Full details of the required service was provided within the Minimum Service Specification in the supporting information folder accompanying the tender. The contract will be for an initial 3 years with 2 options to extend by a further 2 years on each occasion, up to a maximum 7 years total contract term (3+2+2), subject to WCHG requirements and the performance of the successful supplier. The contract will be required to be operational from 20th September 2021.

The main area of operation is currently the Wythenshawe, Manchester area (M22/M23 area), there is the potential for this to widen slightly in line with WCHG’s growth strategy.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The client sought bids from suitably experienced suppliers to provide a materials supply managed stores solution. WCHG intended to engage with a single materials supplier for the provision of a range of repairs and maintenance materials and planned maintenance materials to support the WCHG maintenance team, Wythenshawe Works. The contract will primarily be used by Wythenshawe Works but will also be available to the following, such that each of the following will be entitled to purchase goods from the successful bidder at the discretion of WCHG:- WCHG and all subsidiary undertakings of WCHG both current and future- All parts of any current or future group structure of which WCHG is, or may become, a part - Any entities which are permitted by WCHG to make particular purchases under the contract from time to time. Such as any sub-contractors or joint venture entities (whether companies, limited liability partnerships or otherwise) in which WCHG or any subsidiary undertakings of WCHG participates from time to time (whether as a shareholder, member or otherwise)
