The University is currently going through a period of change with new senior management at the helm. A new strategic plan is currently being developed and our approach within Finance is evolving to align. We are also taking the opportunity to look at our teams across the sections within Finance to redesign and improve services we provide. This will be an ongoing process over the next few years as we adapt each of our sections to meet the needs of stakeholders.
The initial area for development is Management Accounts. The team currently provides professional financial management support service to the four faculties and professional services departments within the University. Services provided include preparing the financial forecasts, controlling the budget setting process, providing financial management information and assisting with preparation of business plans and economic appraisals.
