The Council is seeking tenders for the Provision of Statutory Children Looked After Reviews - Independent Reviewing Officers and Annual Foster Carer Reviews.

The Service Provider will assist the Reviewing team in Brent by providing Independent Reviewing Officers (IRO) to chair and participate in Children Looked After (CLA) reviews and Foster Carer reviews (FCR).

The primary responsibilities of the IRO will be to incorporate the thoughts/voice of the child in their care plan and review recommendations to ensure that they are targeted, achievable and enable positive outcomes. The IRO will be responsible for submitting all appropriate documentation, within agreed timeframes and to standard, and hold the Local Authority to account for their performance in light of the legal responsibilities towards the CLA.
