Northumbrian Water would like to appoint a supplier(s) for the provision of a M365 Backup Solution of NWL's core tenancy and associated Implementation Services.
Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) deliver both regulated and non-regulated water and wastewater services, one of 10 such providers in the UK, to just under 4.4m customers, operating principally in the North East of England and Essex and Suffolk. The business is headquartered in Durham and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Cheung Kong Hutchison Holdings (CKHH), based in Hong Kong. The business turns over £900m and has circa 3000 UK based employees. The business is recognised as a leading customer service organisation with strong ethical values.
NWL are looking to procure an independent backup solution to better protect the organisation's data following the deployment of M365 to all employees over recent years. NWL's M365 tenant consists of approx. 4000 licensed users, utilising; Exchange Online; Teams; One Drive for Business/SharePoint Online comprising of approx. 70 TBs
The requirement is being tendered in 2 Lots.
Following the tender process, NWL would like to award a 5 year contract, with the aim of awarding a single contract to one supplier or a contract under one of the following lots -

We are looking for a supplier who has implemented a solution of similar scale to NWL.
