The Woodborough Road (Oakdene) site is located in the St Anns area of Nottingham. It is located on the crossroads between the B684 Woodborough Road and St Anns Way.
The site was formally a residential care home which has been demolished and the site left clear for construction to start. The Site is currently protected with timber hoarding surrounding the site and benefits from a graffiti wall created by a local school and a local artist.
We are looking into traditional construction methods but also considering MMC proposals for the scheme. We will be looking for two tenders to be submitted, a traditional method and MMC method with their own programs so they can be compared.
Nottingham City Council Housing Services propose to deliver 24 new family homes on this site with the following required mix:
• 10no. – two bedroom houses
• 5no. – three bedroom houses
• 9no. – one bed apartments with three needing to achieve part M4(2)
