This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is in relation to the renewal framework for the Supply and Delivery of Musical Instruments. It is anticipated that the scope of materials covered under the framework may include, but not be limited to, Musical Instruments.
The lotting structure is expected to permit Scottish councils, Scotland Excel Associate Members and other participating public bodies to purchase musical instruments. Nonetheless, please note that the exact procurement process to be adopted and its layout have yet to be determined and may change from those stated in this notice.

This notice is for consultation with the market on the potential of a future renewal procurement process by Scotland Excel for the Supply
and Delivery of Musical Instruments. Scotland Excel envisages publishing a future tender opportunity on behalf of all 32 local authorities in Scotland, associate members, together with any Integration Authority, or other body, established pursuant to the Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Act 2014. Please note the exact procurement process to be adopted and the lotting structure have yet to be determined and therefore may change from those stated in this notice. At this stage, there is an opportunity for interested parties to meet with Scotland Excel to discuss this upcoming framework. We would like to invite suppliers to contact Scotland Excel to arrange an individual online meeting or telephone call (due to the current working restrictions related to the COVID-19 outbreak).
