THIS IS A NOTICE ON BEHALF OF HAMPSHIRE AND ISLE OF WIGHT FIRE RESCUE AUTHORITY
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire Rescue Authority are seeking a supplier to provide non-PTFE Particulate Barrier Flash Hoods.
This will be a single-supplier contract with an anticipated start date of 7th August 2023. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 further 1 year extension options available.
The contract has a maximum value of £360,000

The provision of flash hoods will cover a roll out to blanket issue a set of 2 per Firefighter (FF) and Crew Manager (CM) and 1 per Watch Manager (WM) (with the option to indent for an additional hood if required). There will also be an allocation for specialist roles, for example, Hazardous Material Advisors (HMA) and live fire trainers.
• The hoods must be manufactured to comply with EN139-11, ISO 11999-9:2016
• The hood must conform to NFPA 1971: 2018
