two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (the Combined Authority) and the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (the LEP), is seeking to appoint a Single Service Delivery Provider or Group with a ‘Lead Operator’ to complement and add value to the existing support available across West Yorkshire for business start-ups.The target market is individuals considering starting a business and to provide an ‘Exploring Enterprise’ programme of support. The focus of this commission is to support a range of individuals of all ages and backgrounds to ‘explore’ if a new business start-up is the right career pathway for them (an outcome can be ‘this is not or me’). Other support is being commissioned by the Combined Authority / LEP to help people start-up a business
