This is a Transparency - Intention to Award Notice - to inform market of the Relevant Authority's intention to Award a Contract under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, following a competitive process.
The value of the initial 3-year contract term is expected to be: £2,206,284.00
The lifetime value of the contract if the optional 2-year extension is exercised is expected to be £3,677,140.00
This is an existing service and will be delivered by a new provider to 2 of the authorities listed within this notice (Alder Hey Children's NHS FT and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS FT). The winning bidder is also the existing provider of these services to the other 2 authorities named in this notice (The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS FT and The Walton Centre NHS FT).
It is anticipated that the service will commence on 1st May 2025 for an initial period of 3-years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
