This is a lifting response service for Liverpool registered patients, meeting the needs of those who have fallen in their usual place of residence, have called 999 or alerted via a falls pendant alarm and do not appear to have an injury that requires a clinical intervention from a Health Care Professional, but is unable to recover themselves from the floor, following defined triage processes.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB - Liverpool Place intend to award a 6 month contract via Direct Award C to the incumbent provider to deliver a lifting response service in Liverpool. The contract will start on 1st April 2025, expire on 30th September 2025 and has a total contract value of £68,000.

On the 10th of February 2025, Liverpool Senior Leadership Team approved this decision and no conflicts of interested were declared.
