two.2.4) Description of the procurement

RAF Recruiting and Selection (R&S) have a requirement for the provision of Medical Practitioner services to the Armed Forces Career Offices (AFCOs) across the country to carry out screening, booking and medical examinations, on potential recruits for Regular and Reserve service.

Medical Examinations shall be carried out at suitably equipped premises, including the use of mobile medical units, which should be within one hour’s travelling time on public transport or within a 40-mile radius from the AFCO premises. Contact details shall be provided to each candidate on a case by case basis.
