Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a Grounds Maintenance Contract to achieve the standard set out within the specification in accordance with site drawings and GIS mapping provided.

The initial contract term will be for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend for two (2) further period of one (1) year each.

Castle Rock Edinvar currently spend approximately 320,000 GBP per annum on providing grounds maintenance services to circa 170 schemes and properties in the East Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Midlothian, Milton of Campsie, Stirling, Tullibody and West Lothian regions.

Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association are seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a Grounds Maintenance Contract to achieve the standard set out within the specification in accordance with site drawings and GIS mapping provided.

Castle Rock Edinvar currently spend approximately 320,000 GBP per annum on providing grounds maintenance services to circa 170 schemes and properties in the East Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Midlothian, Milton of Campsie, Stirling, Tullibody and West Lothian regions. The stock within these regions is owned and managed by CREHA and other Places for People Group companies.

The initial contract term will be for a period of two (2) years with an option to extend for two (2) further period of one (1) year each.

The basis upon which Service Providers will be selected for placement on the Framework will be to the first ranked Provider based on the highest scoring tender submission. The second ranked Provider will be awarded to the second highest scoring tender submission. Lastly, the third ranked Provider will be awarded to the third highest scoring highest scoring tender submission.

In the first instance, the Grounds Maintenance works will be contracted to the first placed Provider on the framework. In the event of early termination of the contract for whatever reason, works will then be awarded to the second placed framework. Lastly, the third ranked Provider will be awarded the works in the event of termination of the second placed Provider.

Where there are instances when further competition is required for ad-hoc works, it is the intention of PfP / CREHA to run mini competitions between all three successful providers placed on the framework whereby all three successful suppliers will be asked to provide quotations. PfP / CREHA does not guarantee or warrant however that any ad-hoc works will be required.
