The provision of an Online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Checking Service for use by Liverpool City Council and Partner Organisations.

The Service must be fully hosted, must be accredited by the DBS and must provide for the following:

- A basic DBS check, which shows unspent convictions and conditional cautions.

- A standard DBS check, which shows spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings.

- An enhanced DBS check, which shows the same as a standard check plus any information held by local police that’s considered relevant to the role.

- An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (child), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role.

- An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (adult), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role.

- An enhanced DBS check with barred lists (both), which shows the same as an enhanced check plus whether the applicant is on the list of people barred from doing the role.

- A DBS adult first check.

- The functionality for relevant documents to be checked and verified by a partner organisation such as, but not necessarily, the Post Office.

- Route 2 external validation identity checks for DBS applicants not able to produce Route 1 documentation.

Contract Term: 3 Years with 2 Options to Extend by 1 Year.
