North Tyneside Council are looking to procure a research organisation to act as a ‘partner’ to undertake key research projects, which will enable it to measure a set of questions linked to the priorities of the Plan.

The key research projects will include the council’s:

• Residents’ Survey;

• Team and Pulse Surveys and;

• Tenant Satisfaction Measures Survey

It is proposed that one organisation be appointed to provide the Service, allowing for the development of a ‘rich picture of data’ that will show comparisons and contrasts across a set of key measures.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Authority will require the Contractor to carry out the 2023 Residents’ Survey as well as the 2024 Tenant Satisfaction Measures Survey (TSM) and 2024 Team Survey. Alongside this, the Contractor may also be required, at the Authority’s request, to undertake its Team Pulse Surveys as and when required.

In addition, there may be requirements for the Contractor to carry out other key pieces of work for the Authority during the Contract Period. The price for such work will be requested once further information is known.

Finally, the Contractor will be required to work with the Authority to provide it with an understanding of issues and trends happening across different sectors, including at national government level.

The Contractor will also need to share its knowledge of best practice within the field of research and analysis and maybe asked by the Authority to offer advice in this area. The Contractor should cost for these requirements within its tender submission.
