The University of Aberdeen wish to appoint an effective Building Management Control Systems maintenance term contract framework with 2 suppliers for the provision of Reactive, Planned and statutory Maintenance along with the delivery of Minor works that best meet the needs of the University and its customers.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The University of Aberdeen wish to appoint an effective Building Management Control Systems maintenance term contract framework with 2 suppliers for the provision of Reactive, Planned and statutory Maintenance along with the delivery of Minor works that best meet the needs of the University and its customers. The contract will be in composite for:

- General control panel fault finding

- Control panel wiring diagrams

- Controller software interrogation and fault finding

- Controls software review

- Controls hardware functionality checks with status reports

- Control panel controller replacement

- Control panel controller upgrades

- Control panel modification works

- Control panel component replacement works

- Installation of controls systems

- Fault finding, repair or replacement of control systems

- Network problem fault finding

- Front end supervisor graphical alterations

- Front end supervisor service and maintenance works, including updates

- Supply of SET software for controls interrogation, annual license fee applies

- Occasional out of hours works required.

- Supply of all Health & safety Paperwork inclusive of the following documents to ensure the university and our contractors comply with the health & safety at work act 1974 and all associated regulations.

- CDM

- Construction phase health & safety plan.

- Generic Risk assessment pack that will cover all reactive and planned maintenance activities on all campuses and outlying areas, site and work specific RAMS as required for minor works.

- Provision for a health & safety file as required.
