The University of Exeter is looking to improve service continuity within our IT infrastructure to mitigate risks leading to extended periods of downtime. We are looking to add new functionality to provide increased protection against cyber-attack related incidents in identifying ransomware, mass encryption, and malware and the last clean back up.

A large part of the project is to replace our current backup products. Currently four back up methods are used across several data types that we seek to consolidate into one unified backup solution.

The backup solution must be secure and immutable with an air-gapped repository, and should be able to archive backups to public cloud storage and seamlessly restore directly to the VMware and AHV Environments.
