VIVID are a social housing provider, primarily operating within Hampshire. VIVID have offices based in Portsmouth and Basingstoke. We’ve 33,000 homes across Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and West Sussex of which we maintain circa 27,000.

VIVID’s invite suitably qualified and experienced contractors to deliver for VIVID’s Planned and Responsive leaseholder and general needs roofing and walkways programme. Currently the Roofing and walkways programme is being delivered by an external contractor, including a small element of minor repair works assisted by a VIVID in-house team.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

VIVID’s invite suitably qualified and experienced contractors to deliver for VIVID’s Planned and Responsive leaseholder and general needs roofing and walkways programme. Currently the Roofing and walkways programme is being delivered by an external contractor, including a small element of minor repair works assisted by a VIVID in-house team.

1.2.1 Vivid Homes have an annual roofing replacement program consisting of walkways, flat roofs, pitched, metal clad, and mansard with including plain, interlocking, and slate tiles.

1.2.2 On average the program over the last 3 years has consisted of approximately 120 to 150 roofs per annum with an average spend of circa 2 million pounds per year.

1.2.3 The Contractor will be required to undertake the following:

i. Pitched and Flat Roofing Replacements based on a programme works. This will include undertaking validation surveys for year one of the contract as a minimum. Surveys for subsequent years will be as instructed by Vivid Homes

ii. Responsive repairs works to roofs, as reported by residents or staff of Vivid Homes.
