The Children and Young People’s Mental Health Peer Mentoring and Education programme provides innovative peer support and engagement work predominantly with secondary school children. The overall aim of the service is to prevent and reduce the impact of mental health conditions on children and young people.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using the most suitable provider process.

The contract award date is 02 April 2025 and the service will be delivered for a period of 36 months with an option to extend by a further 24 months at the sole direction of the Council.

The total estimated aggregated value of the contract including extensions is £1,031,840.

There were no written representations during the standstill period and there were no conflict of interests during the process.
