NHS Frimley ICB is seeking to secure a provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver an online mental health and wellbeing service for children and young people aged 11- 17 in East Berkshire.
Access to the service is by self-referral or signposting from another agency with prior consent from the individual concerned. It is free to children and young people who are resident in East Berkshire or who attend an education setting in East Berkshire.
As a provider, you should be able to work with all levels of need, including those who do not meet the threshold for other services, are awaiting or undergoing specialist intervention and support, or are exiting other services. It is important that the service offer is available 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.
The offer must include the following supportive features: -
• Online one-to-one counselling sessions (BACP Accredited or Equivalent)
• Moderated community support via online discussion boards and live forums
• Helpful articles
• Self-help tools including journals, goal trackers and mini activities.
The contract will potentially be for 3 years starting 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2027 with the option to extend for a further 2 years to 31 October 2029. A standard NHS contract will be used for this service.
The estimated annual contract value is £110,000 and the total estimated contract value over the initial three-year period starting on 1 November 2024 is £330,000.
The estimated total contract value including the extension period is £550,000.
This process is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
