ScotRail Trains Ltd (SRT) is seeking to engage with the market to understand the capabilities of prospective suppliers for the repainting and minor refurbishment of its Class 380 Fleet, comprising 38 units (130 vehicles in total

The intended scope includes:

- Removal of existing paint and decals in accordance with relevant maintenance procedures.

- Surface preparation, treatment of corrosion, and repainting to meet the requirements of CR/PE0102, the common ROSCO protective coating specification.

- Application of decals, branding, and livery.

- Minor repairs, including welding, where required.

- General interior work, such as removal and reinstatement of saloon fittings (e.g. seats, flooring).

Suppliers should have access to appropriate paint booth facilities capable of accommodating rail vehicles and be able to demonstrate experience and capability in delivering similar work to railway industry standards. Work must be delivered in accordance with applicable ScotRail and Siemens procedures, relevant health and safety regulations, and recognised industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001, EN 15085).
