Cornwall Council Construction of 52 Affordable Units in Redruth Contractor Expression of Interest

Cornwall Council is inviting Contractors for individual 1.5 hours onsite engagement sessions to help inform future procurement routes, contract options and seek expressions of interest for the development “HRA – Murdoch and Trevithick”.

HRA – Murdoch and Trevithick is a 52-unit affordable home scheme commissioned by Cornwall Council as part of the Housing Revenue Account programme (Planning application number: PA21/11983 – available to view on the Councils planning portal). The scheme was previously under development by a Contractor however works have since halted when that Contractor entered into administration. Progress onsite to date includes:

• Erection of some timber frames (4 blocks)

• Construction of remaining bases to blocks up to DPC

• Foul drainage works

• Offsite connection for storm water

Site visits are available on the following dates (although there is some flexibility with these dates):
