Explanation:
The Authority intends to award a one year contract with option years to Babylon Telecommunications Inc to provide welfare internet Wi-Fi Services to the UK Armed Forces. It
is considered that the contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a
contract notice pursuant to Regulation 32 (2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 for technical
reasons. This is on the basis that only, as the Babylon Telecommunications Inc (a) have the required access to
the infrastructure needed to carry out these services.
