- Lifetime Homes

List and brief description of selection criteria

It is a Minimum Requirement of the Council that Bidders:

Are Constructionline Level 2 Silver registered (or equivalent), with work categories relevant to the subject matter of the contract.

Are registered with a Safety Schemes in Procurement accredited scheme.

Have demonstrable experience of delivering contract(s) of a similar nature.

Provide copies of fully audited accounts, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, for the most recently completed financial year. The accounts will be analysed in accordance with instruction provided in the Financial Analysis Information document within the tender documentation.

Have / or agree to put in place by contract start insurances to the following levels:

- Public & Product Liability Insurance - 10,000,000 GBP;

- Employer’s Liability Insurance - 5,000,000 GBP; and

- Professional Indemnity Insurance - 5,000,000 GBP per claim.

Accept the terms and conditions contained within the tender documentation.

Provide a Carbon Reduction Plan for their organisation.

Agree to work with the Council to reduce the cost and environmental and carbon impact of the scheme.

Bidders are also asked to confirm that they give their acceptance to provide the following:

- A performance bond (equal to not less than 10% of the total contract value).

- Payment of sub-contractors via a Project Bank Account (“PBA”).

The successful Contractors should ensure, where relevant, that all Disclosure and Barring Service are up to date and in line with the Council’s DBS Policy found in the tender documentation.
