Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot (CASNPT) has historically delivered an outreach service within the Afan Cluster (Glyncorrwg, Cwmavon, Blaengwynfi and Cymmer) which was deemed to have the highest deprivation at that time. However, the Health Board has high deprivation across its footprint and to manage unmet demand, this service will be expanded to meet the population’s needs delivering an equitable service across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

CASNPT services are in line with the Public Health Outcome Framework recognising the vision of improving and protecting the health and wellbeing, improving the health of the poorest, and the wider determinants of health (Domain two).

The incumbent provider, Citizens Advice Swansea Neath Port Talbot (CASNPT) has historically delivered an outreach service within the Afan Cluster (Glyncorrwg, Cwmavon, Blaengwynfi and Cymmer) which was deemed to have the highest deprivation at that time. However, the Health Board has high deprivation across its footprint and to manage unmet demand, this service will be expanded to meet the population’s needs delivering an equitable service across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by (18/02/2026).
