The University of Sussex is seeking information and expressions of interest from suppliers in preparation for the tender of external exam room hire and the supporting infrastructure for 2025 onwards.
The current solution is in place to cover up to the August Exam period (A3) in 2024. The new contract will need to be in place in good time for the planning and hosting of the January (A1) 2025 sessions. We anticipate that this would be around September 2024
The contract will start from late 2024 and currently the anticipated contract term is 3 years with an option of 2 more optional annual extensions, covering the three exam periods – January (A1), May (A2), August (A3).
The University is looking for a potential supplier in the market who can provide rooms to hire which are suitable for the use of exams. The supplier may also be able to provide additional services such as provision of desks or be able to assist other suppliers in providing this provision to the University.
