The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders, from those suppliers shortlisted in the initial Supplier Selection stage, to provide reactive and planned preventative building maintenance services to the council’s properties within its operational buildings portfolio.
The prime aim of the contracts is to facilitate the safe and uninterrupted provision of services being delivered from the full range of properties. It is essential that the buildings remain safe, dry, and functional. The successful contractors must work in collaboration with officers to ensure that buildings remain in operational condition, plant and materials are serviced and maintained to ensure legal compliance, efficiency and reliability and where failures arise they are repaired in a diligent fashion with minimal disruption to the building user.
