two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Open tender conducted in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

The objective of the process was to competitively procure for the supply and distribution of fresh meat. As a result of the process a contract has been awarded to a sole Supplier who will serve the whole of Nottinghamshire County.

The maximum term will be 4 years. The initial contract will be awarded for two years from 1st July 2021 to 30th June 2023 with an opportunity to extend for a further two years in increments of up to one year. Therefore, the estimated contract value over the maximum potential term of the arrangement is in the region of £5.6 million.
