This Contract is for the inspection, recording and necessary repairs of all fire doors at the Warrington site only.

The Trust wishes to ensure that all FD60 and FD120 fire rated doors are inspected twice per year and the remaining fire doors annually.

This Contract is for the inspection, recording and necessary repairs of all fire doors at the Warrington site only.

The Trust wishes to ensure that all FD60 and FD120 fire rated doors are inspected twice per year and the remaining fire doors annually.

Warrington Hospital has approximately 3305 manual/fire doors over the site with a view of this increasing to 3510 over the life of this contract. This includes all clinical areas, administration areas, plant rooms, roof voids (where applicable) and basements.

Staff have had appropriate background checks including DBS

The following insurance coverage for the duration of the contract:

Employer’s Liability = £5m

Public Liability = £5m

Professional Indemnity = £5m

The Supplier must ensure that their staff follow Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust policies, procedures and guidelines including Operational, IM&T/ Information Governance and Health and Safety

Any contract awarded will be governed by the NHS Conditions of Contact for the Provision of Services January 2018

Copies of Accreditation / Membership with one of the following – BWF, Exova BM Trada, LPCB, IFC to undertake repairs and maintenance.

Must have 2 years of completing similar contracts within the NHS experience

Staff are qualified joiners to NVQ Level 2 as a minimum and have undertaken Asbestos Awareness training at the start of the contract, renewed annually for the duration of the contract. Proof of qualifications and training for each person working on site must be provided as part of tender submission.
