The purpose of this Notice is to confirm the award Kooth Digital Health Limited contract with additional funding across the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWE ICB).
Since October 2017, Kooth PLC has provided digital mental healthcare for children and young people (CYP) across Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET). Kooth PLC (formerly Xenzone) was commissioned by Herts and West Essex ICB (formerly West Essex CCG) as lead commissioners, to pilot a specialised Mental Health (MH) online counselling and support service. During the period from October 2018 to November 2022 several Waiver Forms were approved through the former West Essex CCG governance process, extending the pilot to align with the community CAMHS re-procurement timeline, 31st March 2022, and subsequently to 30th November 2022 to ensure minimal risk to the re-procurement timeline for provision of a future CYP MH digital service.
Following the competitive Tender process Kooth PLC were awarded a new contract, 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, with a ‘go live’ date of 1st December 2022. The contract value £273,877 per annum, exclusive of VAT.
