Cheshire East Council have previously issued a tender renew this bus service. The current bus service operates between Crewe and Nantwich Monday to Saturday. The contract will be awarded for 12 months to align the contract end date with the rest of the supported bus network.

Due to the current contract expiring, Cheshire East Council have previously issued a tender renew this bus service. The current bus service operates between Crewe and Nantwich Monday to Saturday. The contract will be awarded for 12 months to align the contract end date with the rest of the supported bus network. Service 39 has operated for over 40 years serving Wybunbury and Walgherton villages which are not served by any other public transport. The Service provides links to major schools in Shavington and Nantwich. Patronage is approximately 20,000 passenger journeys a year. This Service is a vital link for local communities. - The authority gives no guarantee or warranty or makes any representation as to the accuracy of any indicative volumes or as to the value of the work during that contract period. This is a call off from the Cheshire East Council Transport DPS.
