Southampton City Council is intending to commission a Children and Young People's Mental Health & Therapeutic Service to provide therapeutic guidance and support to enable delivery of an effective Local Authority children services, specifically supporting the work of the Children Looked After (CLA), Young Peoples Service and Specialist Assessment Service teams.

This notice is an intention to award a contract under the most suitable provider process (NHS Provider Selection Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Provision 10). The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £1,410,300, i.e. £470,100 per annum for up to 3 years.The contract is for a new provider for a new service, the contract to commence from Friday 12th April 2024 and to run until the end of Friday 11th April 2027.
