The City of Wolverhampton Council is issuing this notice with a view to alerting suppliers who may be interested in expressing an interest in tendering for these works. The Council would also welcome any feedback in response to this PIN, which should be sent to xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Please note that this PIN does not give any supplier an advantage, and it does not constitute a call for competition. Information received will give the Council up to date market knowledge available and provide an understanding key supplier concerns. Which will also assist in guiding the Council in its development of the tender documentation, and commercial strategy for the upcoming tender exercise
This opportunity is for the Redevelopment of the Wholesale Market in Wolverhampton. In which the Wolverhampton City Council is proposing to undertake the conversion of the existing market to a mixed used site to accommodate the following facilities:

The intended procurement route will be via the Open Procedure.
The tender documentation will be issued in conjunction with the PAS91 Questionnaire and the specification documents will include Detailed Design Information ( RIBA Stage 4) as the contract will be awarded using the JCT Traditional form of Contract.
The award criteria is to be set at 40% quality and 60% Price.
The Council anticipates that the commencement of the tender process will be in June 2023, and contract award by December 2023, with contract completion schedule for August 2025.
