The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is looking for an exceptional provider, or group of providers with a lead provider arrangement to help grow the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Barking and Dagenham, leading to a borough in which peoples’ ideas, projects and concerns can develop, flourish and be addressed. The commissioned service will support individuals and local VCSE organisations to:

• Lead the sector to stimulate new opportunities in the borough

• Develop collaboration between civil society groups and between the sector and partners

• Support local networks to build sustainable collaborations to support residents

• Provide representation of the local VCSE sector with the council and other partners

The term of the contract is 3+1 years.
